Water for ADD and ADHD
Both Add and Adhd, are brain related problems. It is very essential to prevent these problems from the beginning means if you are a pregnant then you should drink enough water to stay hydrated, as the level of nutrition of the mother is vitally important to the health of the fetus and if a baby born susceptible, his own dehydration that continues during his lifetime will intensify the condition.
Most of the health problems are related to dehydration, including Add and Adhd. Therefore, it is very essential to keep your body well hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
If you child is suffering from ADHD then you should encourage him/her to drink an adequate amount of water. If your child is on medication then do not change dosage or stop the medication of your own.
It is also essential to keep your child away from dehydration causing substances such as coffee and cola drinks.
Try to change your old habits and make a new habit of drinking a glass full of water as soon as you get up in the morning. Water is important for several brain related functions. Educating your child about the benefits of water and proper hydration could save him from innumerable health related problems later in life.
